Position Overview

The Project Manager is primarily responsible for leading, planning, and delivering end-to-end e-commerce projects and initiatives. This role ensures structured execution, cross-functional alignment, and on-time, on-budget delivery of digital and operational projects that drive online growth and performance. The role combines strong project governance with commercial awareness to ensure business objectives are translated into actionable project plans and measurable outcomes.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

Project Leadership and Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of e-commerce projects (website enhancements, integrations, new feature launches, campaign rollouts, new categories launches).
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans across web development, marketing, procurement, warehouse, and operations.
  • Monitor project progress, mitigate and risks, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet agreed business objectives, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide structured reporting to Founder & CEO.
  • Manage external development partners and vendors (Web Development Studio and others) to ensure accountability and performance.

Platform & Integration Oversight

  • Oversee operational execution of the e-commerce platform (product listings, pricing, promotions, inventory coordination).
  • Own and coordinate system integrations between Shopify and connected ERP/4PL systems (Odoo and Quivo).
  • Ensure technical and operational readiness for campaigns and launches.

Commercial & Performance Alignment

  • Support e-commerce trading strategy execution through structured campaign planning and KPI tracking.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and translate performance data into project improvement initiatives.
  • Align procurement and product onboarding timelines with commercial launch plans.
  • Own the full customer journey on the e-commerce website.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a central coordination point across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Procurement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including external Web Development Studio, finance, marketing, customer service and internal operations team to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations Manager and Account & Relationship Manager to monitor onboarding of products into the business and ensure MoPH standards are met.
  • Lead weekly planning meetings and daily operational check-ins.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of project management experience within e-commerce or digital environments.
  • Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus.
  • Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred (not mandatory).

Preferred Background

  • Proven experience delivering cross-functional digital projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong experience with Shopify and system integrations (ERP/3PL/4PL exposure preferred).
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana or similar).
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce business models and KPIs, digital customer journeys, digital marketing tools and techniques, and online sales strategies.
  • Strong risk management, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies.
